UI Design

Rebranding

Background

This was my final project in my UI class. We were tasked to find an app and change its target audience designing 2 new screens tailored for this new audience.

Problem

The home screen and menu screens were tailored to an audience that liked cheep, fast food. Screens were not  aesthetically pleasing to our new audience.

Solution

Created new cleaner screens for the new audience to use. Making it easier for this audience to fully find what they are wanting while also saving money.

Current

App colors

The main colors consists of a cream background and brown writing with white boxes with the secondary colors being yellow, red and orange to fill out the design of the website.

App shapes

The style of the shapes on the website are mainly squares and rectangles with curved corners which are evenly spaced apart. This gives the feeling of a very organized and clean website which is easy to understand.

App Typography

Burger King uses a custom “Flame” typeface for it’s headings and body text.

App layout

The website uses a 1 column layout with all items arranged on top of one another.
